Ivory Tonsorial gem re do

Decided to re hone the 5/8 Tonsorial Gem with the Cretan and the Welsh Thuringian as I did yesterday with the russians. It turned out so well.

This time I soaked the Cretan for 15 minutes first and then made slurry with the DMT

same formula
30 rep sets of circles for 4 sets. slurry graying almost immediately, this stone cuts FAST!
wanted to do more it was so much fun but stopped myself as it was shaving leg hair effortlessly

30 reps of push strokes in sets of 5 on the WT with DMT slurry
same thing, keener

50 laps of X strokes on the WT on water;definitely NOT as suctiony as with the the russian yesterday, not sure if it's the blade or the prep
or nothing.
35 on linen
60 on leather

If this works again the next experiment is the Cretan with Jnat Naguras!

70 laps on leather for the Revisor, day five

SHAVE REPORT

THE REVISOR CONTINUES UNABATED IN KEENESS. AMAZING. I'VE NEVER GOTTEN SO  MUCH FROM THE STROP.

THE TONSORIAL GEM WAS A GEM.JUST LIKE THE RUSSIAN THE HONE WAS AWESOME AND IT SHAVED VERY SMOOTH AND EASILY.I WILL PUT IT ON Y UCHIGUMORI TODAY ON WATER TO SEE IF THAT PROGRESSES THE EDGE OR NOT.

BUT THE CRETAN/WT COMBO WORKS, NO DOUBT

75 LAPS FOR THE REVISOR TODAY
